Enzyme peels and other forms of exfoliation are part of the REMOVE concept of DMK enzyme therapy.

Below are all different methods of professional exfoliation that can be included in your treatment, depending on what your skin requires. Enzyme therapy is progressive, deeper forms of exfoliation and peels can be used, the more treatments you have.

Quick peel works to rapidly reduce inflammation, kill infection and improve the functionality of the skin with poor healing capacity. It improves oxygenation of the tissues and strengthens capillaries. It is suitable for many different skin conditions, including red, reactive and sluggish skin, rosacea and acne. Quick peel suppresses melanin, production to avoid pigmented scars which are associated with acne and inflammatory conditions.

Note: quick peel creates a 'false heat' on the skin and feels very warm for the few minutes it is left on. This stimulates lymph flow, eliminates stagnation, inflammation and infection to re-establish optimal skin function. Quick peel is slightly acidic, you will physically see the dead cells lifting off from the healthy skin underneath, during the treatment.

Sebum soak spirals down into the pores of the skin and dissolves hardened sebum wax, oils and dead skin that is clogging the pores. Recommended for congestion, blackheads and areas needing extraction. Sebum soak is slightly alkaline which helps soften blockages in the skin, refining enlarged pores by evacuation.

Prozyme is a dead cell ingesting enzyme! It is formulated to remove the accumulation of dead cell debris and pigmentation. It works well on thickened skin, pigment disorders, darker skin tones with hyper-pigmentation, congested oily skins with open pores, sun damaged skin, fine lines and wrinkles. It contains the enzymes Bromaline and Papaine (from pineapple and papaya).

Desquamate gently exfoliates dead skin cells. An excellent alternative to people with reactive skins or skins that cannot tolerate prozyme. It can be mixed with enzyme mask 1 to increase its hydrolysing power.

Exoderma peel is a gentle microscopic exfoliating product which you can also purchase to use at home. It is useful for all skin conditions although open wounds should be avoided. It has a neutral pH and can be used regularly. It contains kelp, a rich source of minerals and potassium that helps prevent infection and stops bleeding from skin eruptions. It is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Leaves the skin feeling smooth and fresh.

A combination of glycolic, lactic and malic acids that increase free water levels within the skin without causing irritation or hot spots. Recommended for sagging skin lacking bounce, trans-epidermal water loss, sun damaged skin, blackheads, rosacea, wrinkles and fine lines. Rosacea treated with mild AHA solutions, becomes calmer and dehydrated skin is normalised.
